Since the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020), the fiber processing volume of China's industrial textile industry has shown the characteristics of large total volume and steady growth, with an average annual growth rate of 5.6%.

During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the proportion of industrial textile fiber processing in China's total textile fiber processing increased from 25.3 percent to 33 percent.
