According to the statistical news of the General Administration of Customs, in terms of customs statistics, the export value of textiles and garments in the country in November this year was 22.07 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 3.56% (in RMB terms, a year-on-year decrease of 1.22%). Among them, the export value of textiles for the month was US $ 9.95 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.08% (down 0.69% year-on-year in Renminbi); the export value of clothing for the month was US $ 12.12 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.96% (down 1.64% year-on-year in Renminbi).

In the first 11 months of this year, the total export of textiles and apparel across the country totaled US $ 246.88 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.65% (in RMB terms, a year-on-year increase of 2.02%). Among them, the cumulative export value of textiles reached 109.26 billion US dollars, which continued to maintain a positive growth trend since the third quarter, an increase of 0.06% over the same period last year (in RMB terms, an increase of 4.89% year-on-year). The cumulative export value of apparel was US $ 137.62 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.69% (in RMB terms, a year-on-year decrease of 0.14%), and the decrease was basically the same as in the first three quarters.

Throughout the year, the international environment facing the development of China's textile industry has become more complicated, and there has been greater pressure on garment exports. Especially since the Sino-U.S. Trade friction, the United States 'tariff increase has put greater pressure on Chinese apparel companies' exports to the United States. Next year, the steady development of China's textile and garment export trade will still face challenges.
